Theodore Murdock was born to an American Indian mother, Florence Martille and an African American father, Theodore Sr. and raised in Los Angeles, Ca. After graduation from Los Angeles High School, Theodore attended Los Angeles City College where he began his music studies. He later moved to Long Beach, California to continue his studies in music, architecture, and in computer science.
After graduation, he began to work with many musicians and bands including: The "FUN" ships of Carnival Cruise Lines, Pro-Ship Entertainment, THE RAY CHARLES SHOW, Various Latin jazz and salsa bands, The PROPHETS, ROOTS, RUFUS featuring CHAKA KHAN, and MICHAEL JACKSON and THE JACKSON FIVE
Jimbo Ross is a true virtuoso string man, playing the Viola &
Violin. Being a highly respected and seasoned session player,
soloist and performer, Jimbo has appeared on stage & in the studio with many of the greats in the industry. His credits can be found on every genre of American music and with some of the worlds most notable musical icons including: Michael Jackson, James Brown, Ray Charles, Earth Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Roy Orbison, Elisha Keyes, Sir Paul McCartney, The Three Tenors, Carrie Underwood, Aerosmith, Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston,Barry White, Donna Summer, Sir Elton John, the American Idol Band and the list goes on.
